This weekend is the Canadian Pole Sport Federations annual competition. This will be the fourth year that I have volunteered with the competition.
This all began four years ago when Ashley (CPSF president) mentioned that she needed help with a burlesque routine. I and another person agreed to help out with the show. We began rehearsing at the Brass Monkey Pole Sport gym in Fredericton. We then headlined for Snap! A Burlesque Review, an annual event that raises money and awareness for the SPCA. It was so much fun, I came back to help with all other associated events.
Four years have flown by. My partner in crime is now a certified international pole sport judge, the sport has grown and received international attention. Atlantic Canadian pole and ariel sport athletes are traveling the world to compete and everyone has pretty sick jackets.
See you this weekend guys!
